Earthdance: 29/12/2006 to 01/01/2007
Earthdance is a global dance festival for Peace. This year (2006) The Last tree volunteered together with the beautiful Ms Lisa Brideson to run the Green Futures area at the Western Austral ian contingency of Earthdance down at Faribridge Village.
The Green Futures area hosted a whole bunch of organisations, individuals and groups who have products, ideas and methods which can help us all towards a green future. This festival has high sustainable aims including using green power, composting food wastes, encouraging festival punters to bring their own utensils and the list goes on – check out the website for more details.
It is a great pleasure to be part of a festival that donates all profits to charity, is committed to running the event environmentally, show cases great art, music & indigenous culture, has a dedicated stall area complete with workshops and presentations on green living, delicious food, all hosted in a beautiful setting.
This is the way life should be, celebrations, fun, learning and responsibility as one and that's why The Last Tree is going back for more in 2007.
