seed setFIESTAS & DIALOGUES

a new language from long ago

Our Elders know you don't find the answer by asking thousands of questions. The wise way is to ask the right question in the beginning. If you can do this, you'll find many answers by coming full circle. The Last Tree can help you find key questions through playful practice.

Festivals are the epitome of celebration, which you may have noticed The Last Tree loves! A good festival offers the perfect ingredients for a healthy soul: food, community, art, play, music & dance AND they have one more very exclusive quality; they appeal to our deeper nature of marking occasions with ceremony. Tapping in to this quality is a great way to open and ignite forgotten skills and connections.

The Last Tree loves to share ideas. We hold sessions with university classes, community groups, festivalites and business crew on all things creatively-ecological. Such as: whole systems thinking; environmental art; sustainable communities; projects & philosophies of the ecological paradigm; connecting with nature and celebrating life.

dialogue

Dialogue is emerging as the language of the global networked world and ecological paradigm. The World Café process is an example of how dialogue ‘can evoke and make visible the collective intelligence of any group, thus increasing people’s capacity for effective action in pursuit of common aims’.

Dialogue allows tangents to unfurl, ideas to spark and workable solutions to be found at an invigorating pace. We welcome you to contact The Last Tree if you would like a dialogue facilitated for your group.

"I challenge you to give me your most opposite perspective to mine. In that way I will know how to change my thinking so I can accommodate your concerns and problems" Okanagans - En'owkin
